POTD: Cruising Up the Black River


The Black River, named for the peat deposits that stain its waters, is a favorite day trip for visitors to the South Coast or to Negril. Cruises ply these rivers and offer visitors a chance to see the mangrove-lined banks that are home to numerous bird species as well as the Black River's most famous residents: crocodiles.
