POTD: "The Black Farmer" Visits Mafoota Farm


Late last year we traveled with a group of journalists from the US, UK, and Canada accompanying Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones, better known to UK readers as "The Black Farmer." Emmanuel-Jones produces a line of specialty food products including The Black Farmer® sausages in the UK. As a young boy, he lived in Jamaica. A film crew recorded his visit to the island including this stop at Mafoota Farm, a cooperative farm located south of Montego Bay. The farm provides many of the local products used by chefs at the Sandals resorts.
