July Strong for Air Jamaica

We've just received word that Air Jamaica is reporting an increased passenger load in July over the corresponding period last year, with strong bookings for August.

In July alone, the airline flew over 200,000 passengers, a 9% increase over July 2006.

“The summer so far has been incredible which is due in large measure to our loyal customers and frequent flyers who always continue to support the airline. We wish to thank them for their support and assure them we are working to continuously enhance the airline’s unparalleled Lovebird Hospitality. Our staff must also be commended for delivering quality service to ensure the airline remains top of mind for leisure as well as business travelers,” said Paul Pennicook, Air Jamaica’s Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing.

It's no surprise to us; we've noticed every flight--on every airline-- we've been on to Jamaica this year running just about full.
