South Coast: Getting There

Most travelers to the South Coast, especially to the Whitehouse and Treasure Beach areas, fly into Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport. (In fact, Sandals offers transfers from Sangster to its South Coast resort; it does not offer transfers from the Kingston airport.)

From Sangster, the drive is about 90 minutes across the island to the South Coast. If you're lucky enough to make the drive in the daytime, it's a beautiful drive through what's called the "breadbasket of Jamaica" thanks to its fields filled with crops ranging from yams to oranges.
