What to do

Bamboo Avenue

Bamboo Avenue, a bamboo shaded stretch of the A-2 highway, winds for over two miles. This green tunnel of tall bamboo arches over the roadway.

Along the road's edge, vendors sell chilled young coconuts (jelly coconuts), cracking them with a quick machete chop to reveal the jelly inside.
