Jake's
Treasure Beach, Jamaica

Jake's is a unique property, a place for those really looking to get away from it all and into a relaxed rhythm with the sea. Beach kitsch could best describe the decor of the resort's guest units, each in pale shades of ochre, blue, pink and lavender with tin roofs. Both single cottages and two-bedroom cottages make up the offerings as well as two villas built in the style of a miniature Moroccan palace with terra-cotta walls.

Each of the guest rooms at Jake's is filled with rustic local furniture: beds are covered with a veil of mosquito netting. Each room includes a private bathroom and outdoor shower but some rooms are not air conditioned. Each includes a ceiling fan. The resort includes two restaurants, a bar, a saltwater pool, and a small beach.

Jake's, a member of Island Outpost, puts an emphasis on getting out and exploring the community; you'll find plenty of assistance here to arrange your own explorations.
