FDR Pebbles
Falmouth, Jamaica

JamaicaTripper Review: The sister resort of FDR (Franklyn D. Resort) in Runaway Bay, this resort is also a family getaway but with more emphasis on older kids. Like FDR, families are assigned Vacation Nannies but there's more focus on supervised teen programs here including campouts.

Pebbles’ Vacation Nannies supervise the kids while they watch movies, play video games, do arts and crafts in the Small World Kids Club, and take part in the scheduled activities. Other activities include, fishing, shell-collecting, beach games, talent shows, playground time, water sports, Pebbles’ special Bubblemaker Scuba Diving program, sports, board games, and visits to nearby attracitons.

Teens can enjoy activities with kids in their own age group at the Teens Club. Here, they can play games like ping pong, pool, and checkers. The Sports Program teach kids basketball, tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, sailing, and snorkeling. This program also takes kids on local hikes. The Discover Scuba Diving Program is a half-day course that teaches diving in a pool and takes kids out on their first dive. In the teen program, kids can also play beach volleyball, take glass bottom boat rides, kayak, play beach games, participate in reggae tie-dye, bar-b-que, take boat trips, cook-out, fish, enjoy ocean trampolines, go camping, use the Cyber Café, play computer games, take reggae dance lessons, get to know other visitors of their age from around the world, and many more things.

Clientele: Families

Good Choice If:

you are traveling with a family
you'd like an all-inclusive where the emphasis is on kids, especially preteens and teens

Bad Choice If:

you're looking for a quiet getaway
you're not traveling with a family
