Coyaba Beach Resort & Club
Montego Bay, Jamaica

JamaicaTripper Review: This $10 million resort has the feel of an intimate inn, but it offers the amenities of a larger resort. Located on a shady stretch of beach, Coyaba is a good option if you’re seeking the niceties and luxuries of an exclusive retreat. The hotel offers all-inclusive deals or European Plan only. The plantation-style great house on the property houses the main restaurant. Amenities include a freshwater pool, hot tub, massage, tennis, watersports, recreation room, tennis, a dive shop, windsurfing and a playground. Families are welcome except in late December and early January when there's a minimum age of 12.

Guest rooms are light and airy, decorated in an elegant tropical style with mahogany furniture. You’ll be greeted by a basket of banana bread, a sweet introduction to this special property.

One thing we really liked about our stay at this property was its almost inn-like feel; owners Joanne and Kevin Robertson live right on property.

Clientele: Couples, singles and families (except in late December, early January when there's a minimum age requirement)

Good Choice If:

you'd like the feel of a small property but the facilities of a larger one
you'd like to get out and explore the surrounding area and would like meal plan options

Bad Choice If:

you're looking for merriment makers and planned activities
