Getting to Port Antonio

Getting to Port Antonio is no small order. At the present time, the road from Ocho Rios to Port Antonio is undergoing a serious construction project that may take the rest of the decade; plan for the drive to take close to four hours.

From Kingston, the drive over the mountains would be the most direct...but that road was damaged by hurricanes. That leaves the southern road through Morant Bay as the main option from Kingston but that road can be plagued by high water during heavy rains.

Charter flights from Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport and Kingston's Tinson Pen airport are available to Port Antonio's Ken Jones Aerodrome. The airport closes at 6pm so only daylight flights are available. TimAir and International Airlink both offer charter options.
