Royal Palm Preserve
Negril, Jamaica

Located on the southern side of the Great Morass, this preserve protects the wetlands and the royal palms that thrive here. This reserve spans 300 protected acres, ones that are home not only to the majestic royal palms but to 113 other plant species. You can walk on a boardwalk here for a look at birds as well as crocodiles; a small museum also includes displays about the Great Morass. Horseback riding is also available here.
