Mayfield Falls & Mineral Springs

Located in the Dolphin Head Mountains near Glenbrook, this is a good tour for nature lovers. This visit includes a guided hike up the river with a stop at a bar and grill along the way. You’ll then continue via a bamboo bridge across a gorge. The site is home to 21 mineral pools and two waterfalls plus some underwater caves. Several tour operators bring tours to the falls; transportation as well as lunch is generally included. And keep an eye out for mermaids; legend has it that one lived in these waters 300 years ago...
