To us, it seems a little silly to pay nearly $30 for admission to a waterpark when you've come to Negril to vacation on its great beach but, hey, if the kids are pressuring you (or the sea is really churned up) this can be a good afternoon activity. The park, which was opened in 2007, is located across from Beaches Sandy Bay (the other Beaches property--Beaches Negril--has a large waterpark of its own. Check that out when you're booking your resort if you know this is a must for the kids).

Your admission to Kool Runnings includes its 10 waterslides as well as a lazy river float; other activities like the go-kart track and climbing wall cost extra.

If you've been coming to Negril for a while, you'll remember this as the location of the old Anancy Family Fun Park; it was located across from the old Poinciana resort (now Beaches Sandy Bay).

There's a discounted admission for kids under 48 inches tall since they can't ride all the slides; there's also a bargain price charged after 4pm on weekdays.
