What to do

Getting to Montego Bay

Thanks to the city's Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay is the easiest Jamaican city to reach, with the largest number of international flights.

Flying to Montego Bay

Numerous airlines serve Montego Bay.From the United States, Air Jamaica, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Spirit, United and US Airways offer nonstop and connecting service. Air Canada offers service from major airports in Canada. Air Jamaica, Virgin Atlantic, and British Airways offer service from the United Kingdom.

Getting to Your Hotel

The airport, recently expanded, is just minutes from many hotels and resorts. Many resorts have hospitality desks at the airport; after clearing immigration and customs, you'll find these desks as you exit customs. Check in at the desk for details on your transfer.

If your resort hasn't made transfer arrangements, you'll find a Jamaica Tours desk in the arrivals hall.

Cruising to Montego Bay

Montego Bay is the island's second busiest cruise port (Ocho Rios ranks as number one). The cruise port is located in the Freeport area west of town. A quick taxi ride will whisk you from the cruise terminal to downtown Montego Bay; it's not within walking distance.
