Golf in Kingston, Jamaica

Kingston visitors have two choices for golf:

Caymanas Golf and Country Club
Mandela Hwy., halfway between Kingston and Spanish Town,
Open in the late 50s, Caymanas was Jamaica's first major championship 18-hole course. It is located six miles west of Kingston. Greens fees (2007): $45 on weekends, $37 weekdays.

Constant Spring Golf Club
Since the 1920s, Constant Spring has offered 18 holes; this course was designed by Scotsman Stanley Thompson, who was the mentor of Robert Trent Jones. The short course is easy for business travelers who don't have time to drive out to Caymanas. Greens fee (2007): $35. Facilities include a clubhouse, restaurant, bar, and pro shop.
